My youngest turned 3 this summer. She is starting to get her own unique personality. After the pandemic hit, we decided it was time to potty train. After all, we didn’t have anywhere to go, or errands to run so it would be perfect timing. Odd to think it took a pandemic to slow down this family of 8 enough to make it easier. Also she was not very interested in me training her. I could not get her to even sit on the potty, but if I assigned one of her siblings to help her she would happily go. (grrr) So now after 14 years of babies and diapers, I have no more diapers anymore!!! Yay!!!

Things about her:

She LOVES Minnie Mouse, taking selfies with mom, and jumping on the trampoline. She is pretty quiet most of the time, but while all of her older siblings are gone to school she starts talking a lot more. In fact the other morning I made her breakfast and as I set it on the table I reminded her that we needed to say a prayer. She wanted to say it. I still help her pray right now so at one point I said “I’m thankful for this day”. She repeated back “I’m thankful for this day with me and Mommy!” After she finished the prayer I asker her “Are you excited to be Mommy’s helper today?” She replied with an excited “Ah Huh!!!” while nodding yes.

She is my first kid to play with toys where she has them talk to each other. Right now she has a set of little pony’s that she plays with. She loves to have them play hide and seek together. Sometimes it is really hilarious to listen to the conversations she makes them have with each other.

Here is the baby of my family!
